Short description
The thickness gauge VDM 13 is a gauge with horizontal guidance of the pressure stamp. This movement into the measuring zone does not generate any pulse-shaped pressure forces above the specified measuring pressure. The starting static friction that occurs when the measuring point is reached is exceptionally small at< 15 µNm and does not influence the measurement result. The measurement is always performed with plane-parallelism of the printing die and the reference plate.
